Born in Barcelona August 10th 1960. José Ribas Folguera graduated from the Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura de Barcelona (ETSAB).

In 1987 he came into partnership with his father. Once this team came to fruition they would develop projects both in architecture and urban planning.
