Barcelona April 24th 1929 – November 21th 2011. José Ribas González dedicated all his life to the field of architecture. He practiced both on his own and in collaboration with other remarkable designers.
Obtaining his architecture professional degree in 1957 from ETSAB (Escuela Superior de Arquitectura de Barcelona) he later obtained a doctorate in 1962.
In addition to his prolific and accomplished practice, his vocation lead him to teach and share his knowledge on the subjects of drawing, topography, urbanism and structures at his aforementioned alma mater.

Moreover, he worked as municipal architect for the municipality of Sant Josep (Ibiza), obtained an MBA from the University of Navarra, and was an important advisor to multiple tourism boards.
